The DeWalt 20 Volt MAX Reciprocating Saw is built to deliver fast and accurate cutting performance.
Power
This reciprocating saw's brushed motor provides 0 - 3000 SPM and a 1-1/8" stroke length providing fast cutting times to get the job done.
20V MAX XR™ Extreme Runtime Premium Li-Ion batteries supply more runtime per charge than standard 20V MAX™ li-ion batteries. LED fuel gauge on battery gives immediate info on charge level.
Charger has a hot/cold charge delay and will start charge once battery is at optimal temperature.
Takes only 1 hour to charge the 20V MAX XR™ Extreme Runtime Premium Li-Ion batteries with the included charger.
Build
20V MAX™ tools are up to 38% lighter and 57% faster than other 18V li-ion tools.
Has a lock-off button to keep tool safe when not in use.
Variable speed trigger provides different levels of speed the further in the trigger is pressed.
Use slow speed to start cuts, then increase to get the best results.
Blades should be longer then 3-1/2" for use with this reciprocating saw and should extend past the shoe and the workpiece to prevent injury or breakage.
Adjustable shoe has three settings in order to limit the depth of the cuts.
There are 4 positions the blade can be used in to help tackle any job.
