The DeWALT Small Angle Grinder (D28402) is equipped with Quick-Change™ wheel release, which allows tool-less wheel removal.
Handling
This saw is built with a 10.0 AMP (11,000 RPM) AC/DC motor built for faster material removal and higher overload protection.
It's equipped with a Dust Ejection System™ that provides durability by ejecting damaging dust and debris particles that enter the tool through the air intake vents.
There is a one-piece brush arm that prevents brush hang-up due to dust ingestion. There is also a dual abrasion protection that increases motor protection from damaging dust and debris ingestion.
The oversized, protected spindle lock button provides easier and quicker wheel changes.
The keyless adjustable guard provides tool-less guard adjustments, which increases productivity.
Build
There is a vibration-reducing side handle that is comfortable for extended use applications.
The low profile, jam-pot gear case provides precise gear alignment for a smoother, quieter transmission while allowing access to tight spaces.
The auto-off brushes shut the tool down when the brushes need replacing to avoid tool damage.
There is a paddle switch with safety lock-off prevents accidental start up.
