The BOSCH Brute Tough™ Hammer Driver Drill Kit (18636-01, 18636-02, 18636-03) has Brute Tough™ construction with Unibody powertrain, metal-reinforced collar, and Durashield™ housing. This makes the tool able to withstand real-world conditions, and it can withstand repeated 1-story drops when the competition fails.

This tool is built with BOSCH powertrain with metal gears. It has a 15 position clutch, and a high torque mode that produces over 600"/lbs.

Lithium-Ion Battery
The Lithium-Ion fast charger charges 36 V batteries to 80% of capacity in 30 minutes.
These Lithium-Ion 36 V batteries are the most advanced Lithium-Ion batteries available today. They allow more battery charges and longer run times.
The tool's flexible power system allow you to match the battery to the application; there is a FatPack for 36 Volt power and maximum runtime, and a SlimPack for 36 Volt power, less than 14.4V weight.

There is a hammer on/off ring which allows you to easily engage and disengage hammer mode.
The externally accessible brushes make it possible for brush replacement in as little as 2 minutes.
This tool is ideal for ratcheting with its carbide tooth single sleeve 1/2" chuck for one-handed bit changes.
