The Makita Angle Grinder & Sander (GA7911) is built to be a multi-purpose tool and be able to use 7" or 9" grinding wheels or 7" sanding discs helping to eliminate the need for multiple tools.
This grinder has a heavy duty torque limiter prevents damage to internal gearing and prevents operator from experiencing a surge of torque during wheel lock up.
There is a removable side handle that can be mounted on left or right side of tool.
The grinder accepts Use 7" or 9" Grinding Wheels or 7" Sanding Discs or 6" Wire Cup Brushes when used with proper guards.
Makita recommends holding the tool at a 15° angle when sanding.
